I believe that all people deserve to experience consistent joy and fulfillment in their lives. Life can be busy, stressful, and overwhelming. These factors can have a negative impact on our emotional state, personal relationships, and careers. Past hurts and current conflicts further complicate this. I work with clients from an Adlerian approach to talk therapy and emotional management techniques. Through this combination, the client and I work together to build skills that they can use to improve the consistency of the emotions that they experience. I believe that the quality of our emotions determines the quality of our lives. By learning to maintain a more consistently positive emotional state, we can improve our relationship with ourselves, others, and the careers that we pursue.
I’ve worked as a full-time secondary educator with at-risk teens and as a successful small business owner for the past fourteen years. I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degrees as well as Life Coach Certification from the Tony Robbins/Madanes Training School. I’ve run my own life coaching business for the past two years. During that time, I’ve worked with teens struggling with the plethora of issues that they face daily. Additionally, I’ve worked with adults, ranging throughout the age spectrum, who are working through relationship struggles, career conflicts, and health obstacles. Currently, I’m working toward my second Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling.
